Mural painting in Viadana
In 1981 Ghizzardi was summoned, together with many other representatives of the naïve art in the Po valley, to carry out a mural painting on the side wall of the cinema in Viadana (Mantua), within an initiative for the promotion of “spontaneous” mural painting patronized by the town council.
Ghizzardi’s painting, a bestiary, was later removed, restored and installed inside the MuVi museum in Viadana, where it remains on show since January 2010.
