Videography
The section dedicated to the Documentaries lists TV and cinema productions dedicated to Pietro Ghizzardi, from the first documentary in 1963 by Michele Gandin, with text by Leonardo Sinisgalli (poet, essayist, historic art director of “Civiltà delle Macchine”, Pirelli’s cultural magazine), produced by Istituto Luce and showed in the Italian cinemas within the newsreel, up to the 1978 RAI documentary Mi richordo anchora – Conversazione con Pietro Ghizzardi by the director Gian Vittorio Baldi, collaborator and producer, amongst others, of Pier Paolo Pasolini and Robert Bresson.
The videography includes also a vast collection of audiovisual documents which belong to the video archive of the House Museum Al Belvedere “Pietro Ghizzardi”. It is possible to watch some of these important testimonies about the artistic work as well as the humble, spontaneous, simple, and sharp personality of Pietro Ghizzardi and his everyday life.
