Also this year’s Easter time will be mostly spent at home, so we decided to put together some useful suggestions to take advantage of the brief holiday break to dive into topics related to Pietro Ghizzardi’s irregular art:

– on 22nd February Nives Pecchini Ghizzardi, founder of the House Museum Pietro Ghizzardi, turned 90 years old. We celebrated her with some stories (in Italian) that retrace her life on our Instagram profile;

– on House Museum’s YouTube channel we launched the video feature “Dipinti a voce” (paintings by voice), where we tell about some works from the collection. You can catch up on the first two pills, dedicated to the portraits of Dalida and Marx (available with English subs), and more pills are coming up in the next weeks;

– also on YouTube you can watch the wonderful documentary Naif del mondo (Naif in the world) (1975) by Gianpaolo Tescari: the ten minutes dedicated to Ghizzardi, almost at the beginning of the documentary, are of surprising beauty: a real poetry. Find out for yourself! (available in Italian)
